I'm sorry it has been so stressful for you Sharon! It does strike me as just a bit funny that we crashed the PayPal server. :)
I can hear them saying "and this is for "yarn", ma'am????" and you replying with "not just any yarn! highly sought after woolly goodness!!!"

I suspect that - once Pay Pak is fixed - the random offerings during the Carpe Yarnem week will be the way to go. It is all of us jumping on the yarn bed at the same time that causes damage...
But where are they all?! I wasn't going to buy any, having bought pepperberry last time (and, ahem, not knitted it up yet - I'm enjoying looking at it and stroking it), but I wanted to see what else there was! Am I being stupid?
Sounds like a heck of a time!!! I wanted to see what the other "surprise" yarns were, but there are no pictures on the blog. So sad. :-(
Well, I'm glad to know that at least I can say I was part of an "event."

Okay, the fact that we seem to have broken paypal somehow cracks me up to no end. Behold the power of yarn lust, and all of that.
Also: ohmygoodness ohmygoodness...Stardust...I coveted...and I actually managed to snag it! It will be loved, and petted, and smooshed, and eventually knitted but only to the most perfect of patterns, yarn-geeks honor!
kinda like when BMFA got flagged a couple years ago. knitters have power!
