*time's up!* I want you to have this.
*Time's up!* Winner will be announced shortly...
Really, I want each and every one of you to have this.
Unfortunately, I don't have 30,000 of them, I only have one.
It's a rainbow mini skein set. One ounce each of our nine new spring colorways: Brandy Alexander, Cosmo, Mimosa, Creamsicle, Mojito, Agua Vida, Curaçao, Ice Blue Raspberry, and Passion Punch. That's 2-1/4 skeins of yarn.
These sets are pretty irresistible, and the possibilities are endless. You can use them to make stripes, you can use just a couple of colorways together at a time, you can use them for trim, for contrasting heels and toes, or for a project that requires small blocks of color.
I would LOVE to see a log cabin pillow top, or a chevron scarf with skinny color changes. I would ADORE seeing a sweet striped sweater for a little one. It would THRILL me if someone made these into knee socks or a stocking cap.
The set I'm giving away is dyed on Springvale Sport, which can be knit like a heavy fingering weight for socks, or as a true sport weight for sweaters and scarves and such. It's delishy and squishy.
Don't mind me and my made up adjectives.
These sets are currently available only through retailers, but here's your chance to win one.
To enter, please leave a comment describing what you would do with this set if you won. I will use a random number generator to select a winner tomorrow, Wednesday, May 26th, at 1:00 pm, Central Time. The winner will be posted here. One entry per person, please.
Good luck!

I've recently designed a baby hoodie, as of yet, nameless. These would be perfect for knitting up a wee size and the name would have to be Chasing Rainbows.
XOMG!! It's like a box of crayons that would become some delishy fair isle socks or a squishy baby outfit or maybe even an over-the-top sweater for Max.
I'd knit some stripy socks!
I would make a rainbowy (My unique adjective!) entrelac scarf. Something beautiful and bright for this winter!
First I would play with them and arrange them and admire them for a long time. Then I might use them in various combinations for socks.
My wife would love to knit something for our son, she's always wanted him to have rainbow leggings to cover his chunky thighs.
I'm expecting a neice/nephew in December so I'm thinking something cute and babyish.
I think I'd like to make child's tunic comprised of hexagons using the images in the Painter's Palette as inspiration.
That yarn is begging to become a stripey sweater for my one year old :)
As soon as I'd seen the collection of mini-skeins, I thought of Mandy Powers' "I heart you" sweater for a toddler I know -- probably set against a backgroud of the Brandy Alexander color.
This would be my first TIG yarn... Hmmmm. The possibilities are ENDLESS! I'd most likely make a sweater for my daughter, or some baby items for my new niece/nephew on the way!! Sooo pretty!
I would use them alternating with a solid color to make some really wild striped socks.
These are gorgeous! I would make my daughter a Rainbow Brite inspired belt!
Socks, of course!
I would make either socks or pretty scarf.
I would use the miniskeins to make socks or maybe a sweater for each of my littles. I love the colors together and I love them apart and I love them in different combos :)
I see these as colorful little crocheted granny squares framed in white for a bright cheery wrap/throw - I'm drooling uncontrollably already! Thank you Yarnista for making such a generous giveaway! I'm crossing fingers and toes and making a wish that I will win! I promise to share my FO with you to post on your blog if I get to be the lucky recipient.
ZOMG a pair of rainbow-stripey knee-high socks would be absolutely awesome!! I would TOTALLY make some with this yarn!!!
I think I would make a rainbow skirt for my little girl. Yummy!
this would so be a sweet little cardi for one of my girls. ♥
