It's almost here.
You will like it. It's pretty darn nifty.
And you will be surprised.
And that's all I have to say about that. The end.
Just kidding.
Let's have a naming contest, shall we? You suggest possible colorway names. If I use one of yours, I'll send you a free skein of that colorway. When you make a suggestion below, please be sure to enter your email address so I can contact you if you win. (Your email address will not be visible to anyone but me.)
Have at 'em!

Musically inspired by The Corrs, mostly jigs and reels.
Toss the Feathers
Lough Erin Shore
Joy of LIfe
The Dimming of the Day (such a lovely ballad)
Look them up on YouTube. They're all there and really wonderful.
Spring has two sides- the new blooms and the rain that brings them. So while there must be a yarn named Jonquil there should also be one called Galoshes! (Are they called Wellies in Ireland or is that a huge faux pas?)
Wikipedia tells me that the Gaelic word for the St Bridgid's spring festival is Imbolc.
And of course spring means Goodbye Winter and Here Comes The Sun. :-)
I can't wait to see what you have come up with!
Isabelle
Margit
Lily of the Valley
Moira
Chickadee - they have been all over our yard, Even though it's cold seeing them makes it feel like spring is near.
Spring Whimsy
How about" Kiss Of Spring"?
Ok, here goes...
May Pole Dance
The Road Less Traveled
Faerie Conclave
Puck
Oberon
Eurydice
Orpheus
Story Time
Bend in the River
Cucumber Salad
Cicero
Mother Earth
Queen Mab
Dooley
Jumping Fish
Wet Wings
Kokopelli
That was fun! Can't wait to see the colorways!
Sangria
Curtis Blast
Party Punch
Moonlight
Renew/Renewal
Awakening
I'm into blue hues this spring, so my ideas are:
beluga
Alice
Liverpool
brandeis
Prussian
bondi
ao (for a bright vibrant blue)
beau
cerulean
cadet
Ceil
Carolina
tufts
Can't wait to see what your imagination has produced this spring!!
I was just looking at your lovely preview for the millionth time, and couldn't help but think of antique china...
So I came up with:
-Dresden
-Wedgewood
-Spode
-Fiesta(ware)
-Jasper(ware)
-Lustre(ware)
-Blue Willow
-Nautilus
I have a whole set of Nautilus that was a wedding gift to my great-great-great aunt from her fiance. It's just lovely (like your yarn)!
I hope no one else has thought of these! Thanks again for the fun! I can't wait to see the new colors. When will they debut?
