Spring collection

It's almost here.

You will like it. It's pretty darn nifty.

And you will be surprised.

And that's all I have to say about that. The end.

Just kidding.

Let's have a naming contest, shall we? You suggest possible colorway names. If I use one of yours, I'll send you a free skein of that colorway. When you make a suggestion below, please be sure to enter your email address so I can contact you if you win. (Your email address will not be visible to anyone but me.)

Have at 'em!

"Mistress Mary" -- for reference to Frances Hodgson Burnette's Secret Garden. And really, you could do a whole theme for that: "A Bit of Earth", "Misselthwaite", "Magic", "Miracle", "Martha", "Dicken", "Colin" and of course "Frances."

And unrelated but I couldn't help myself because of the top photo: "Pear-y beautiful."

I think Spring in MN beats Spring in Northern Michigan any day, at least that's what my sister tells me. (She's in Rochester.) But hope springs eternal... wait, that might be a good suggestion! OK, here are my suggestions:

Hope Springs Eternal
Opening Day
First Pitch

(And if you take into account that I'm a Detroit Tigers fan, all three suggestions could follow a baseball theme!)

I have just one more suggestion - Calla (as in Calla Lillies because they always make me think of spring).

And this isn't my suggestion, I believe it was Mona on the 23rd, but I really loved her "Rainboots" and "Mud Puddles". Those totally made me think of spring time and elementary school recess.

Hmmmmm, a proper MN spring?

For the obligatory grey/brown neutral:
Slush Pile

Spring around here also calls for:
Holy Crap, Everything Turned Green Overnight
The Frakking Squirrels Just Ate All My Tulips Again
Bright Yellow Raincoat
Ice Cream By The Lake
Fiddleheads

Okay, I see there is a lot of competition here! I have reread all of the posts and don't recall seeing this one but it would be perfect (IMO), especially in MN or anywhere in the Midwest:

Spring Fever

I also kept thinking of the lovely Southern flower

Magnolia

as well as Camellia, a lovely flower I became acquainted with when visiting a dear friend in the springtime of New Orleans.

Jerome is kind of a green name- loyal and sacred like the green of spring which DOES arrive each year regardless how rough the winter and brown and muddy its departure:)

Alana means peaceful (the second photo from the top is about as peaceful as I can imagine- peaceful pink floating in a pond)
