Nifty!

I've been busy.
I love being busy. Busy is fun, but tiring. I've got enough irons in the fire for three people.
Two weekends ago, I was at Yarnover, a Twin Cities-area event. This is Aimee, the owner of Darn Knit Anyway in Stillwater. Isn't her shawl awesome? It's stripes of Burke and Eilis.
Kiss and Tell Vest. Sweet.
Not sweet: my hands after I taught a dyeing class at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival last weekend. I had to peel plastic tape off of my jars of dye, and couldn't do it with gloves on. It's now Wednesday, and my hands still show signs of the battle.
My hands have been through the wringer more than once.
Our new colorway collection is coming shortly, too.
What have you been up to?

I want to make that shawl. And I have both colorways... in super merino. Do you know what base she used?? And a new colorway collection?? YAY! Will it be on your site or only for the retailers??
I want to say Springvale DK, Janet? Really, it doesn't matter too much -- you can always just do fewer repeats if it starts getting too big.
New colorways are limited editions. Some will be available only through retailers, others will go up on the site a bit later.
Hopefully those retailers keep us posted via the Enablers thread on Rav!
The new colorways look amazing, and I'm really hoping that I can talk my wife, the knitter in my life, to knit me something for the long cold winter that is just around the corner (I'm from Northern Minnesota. I live at the tip of a very large lake). Unfortunately, she spends much of her time dying yummy yarn that leaves little time for knitting. Any suggestions on yarn or a pattern that would compel her to use some of her precious free time to help keep me warm next month?
The shawl Aimee is wearing is knit in Glenhaven Cashmerino fingering. (I know because I knit it for the shop.)
