True facts
True Fact #1: When I was three years old, I knew all the words to the Dolly Parton Song 9 to 5.
Still do. Here, I'll sing it for you.
This is an average day for me. My hair isn't great in the video, but it does have some volume. And my jumpsuit isn't exactly pristine. But let's not forget that I dye stuff for a living.
And yes, Snow White works in the studio.
Because I was such a talented vocalist, as is evidenced by the above video, my mother made me sing 9 to 5 for everyone. What was it? Was it that I knew all the words? Was it that it was cute for me to sing about how I was just another rung on the boss man's ladder?
I especially loved to sing it while riding in the backseat of our M & M green Volkswagen Rabbit, which looked a lot like this:
True Fact #2: I'm teaching a dyeing class this weekend at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival.
I think I'm going to play a joke on the attendees. I'm going to sit in the audience and wait and wait and wait for the teacher to show up, and when she's about 20 minutes late, I'll sigh heavily and say resolutely, "I GUESS IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF." I will then swoop in and save the day.
Good idea? Yes?
True Fact #3: I have seen zero percent of the following movies:
Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
The Godfather
The Godfather II
The Godfather III
Anything in a theater from the years 2002-2009.
True Fact #4: I have a cat. Kia would like you to know that she still lives here, that her position as eldest pet of the family has not been usurped by a certain giant horsedog.
Women and cats will do whatever they like. Men and dogs should just get used to the idea.
True Fact #5: Tomorrow, I'll give you a couple of previews of our new, can't-be-recreated, spring rainbow mini skein sets found only at Cloverhill Yarn at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.
True Fact #6: Still no leaves on the trees here in northern Minnesota.
True Fact #7: I'm a little peeved about #6.

I may have overreacted yesterday when the really nice UPS guy came to the store (Cloverhill) without your yarn! The biggest of perk of the job is having 1st pick of the good stuff!
Everything is in full bloom here in MD! Of course the daffodils and tulips are done as well as the cherry blossoms on to summer!
True Fact #1: I actually really like that old Rabbit.
wish i could be there for the dyeing class, sounds wonderful. love your idea of sitting in the audience. that would be so funny
No leaves in Northern Michigan either! I went downstate over the weekend to pick up College Son. There are leaflets, forsythia, azaleas, and magnolias galore downstate, and when I returned home to our barren trees I thought for a minute, "Did all our trees die?" Then I reminded myself, you live in NORTHERN Michigan and spring has not sprung yet! But have heart, it's coming!
