*time's up!* I want you to have this.
*Time's up!* Winner will be announced shortly...
Really, I want each and every one of you to have this.
Unfortunately, I don't have 30,000 of them, I only have one.
It's a rainbow mini skein set. One ounce each of our nine new spring colorways: Brandy Alexander, Cosmo, Mimosa, Creamsicle, Mojito, Agua Vida, Curaçao, Ice Blue Raspberry, and Passion Punch. That's 2-1/4 skeins of yarn.
These sets are pretty irresistible, and the possibilities are endless. You can use them to make stripes, you can use just a couple of colorways together at a time, you can use them for trim, for contrasting heels and toes, or for a project that requires small blocks of color.
I would LOVE to see a log cabin pillow top, or a chevron scarf with skinny color changes. I would ADORE seeing a sweet striped sweater for a little one. It would THRILL me if someone made these into knee socks or a stocking cap.
The set I'm giving away is dyed on Springvale Sport, which can be knit like a heavy fingering weight for socks, or as a true sport weight for sweaters and scarves and such. It's delishy and squishy.
Don't mind me and my made up adjectives.
These sets are currently available only through retailers, but here's your chance to win one.
To enter, please leave a comment describing what you would do with this set if you won. I will use a random number generator to select a winner tomorrow, Wednesday, May 26th, at 1:00 pm, Central Time. The winner will be posted here. One entry per person, please.
Good luck!

Sooo scrumptious! I have two granddaughters. Which one will receive the sweater??
I like your idea of a log cabin -- so beautiful! Hard to say what I would do, exactly, but I know that fondling them and loving them, and dreaming of what to do with them is definitely part of what I would do.
I'd make a scarf with them against a black background, using a Kieran Foley design!
I would definitely use that gorgeous yarn to make a sweater for my babies! I have twins so they would have to take turns with it, but it would be so fabulously beautiful that they would be glad to take turns!
I think I would either make myself a rainbow of socks or create a rainbow blanket. Something to spice up the color in my home. I'd love to bring these babies in here, work with colors I actually like!
These really need to be some cute colorwork mittens!!
I would probably spend a while drooling over the colours...and planning my project, going back and forth among several...but I would definitely knit something for my daughter, due in June! I think a hat and booties and maybe the beautiful springtime in hollis cardigan as well.
I would make a baby blanket for charity - a great surprise for an unexpecting new mother!!
I was thinking of the hexagon socks right away! They look so yummy!
I would love to turn that into a SMSS Rainbow Pinafore (I think the pattern is in the workds) for my baby girl. Or maybe a Rainbow dress. :)
These colors are lovely! I love the idea of socks with contrasting toe/heel, or stripey hats and mittens.
I would crochet a log cabin baby blanket. I'm a quilter and I love log cabin blocks :)
I think that I would make a sweater for my little girls. They would love the colours!!
I would totally make matching socks for everyone in my family who live here and in Germany and have been begging me to make them socks...
If I won I would make toe up rainbow socks!
These wonderful skeins of rainbow-ey goodness
should be a made into a shawl so you
can wrap yourself in love
I would make a baby blanket for my nephew.
I would make a scarf, hat or socks. This yarn is beyond pretty.

This is so unbelievably beautiful! I would make a tulip-cardigan style sweater for my 2 year old daughter Phoebe. :)
I thought from the beginning these would make a beautiful crochet flower scarf. So that is what I would make.
