*time's up!* I want you to have this.

*Time's up!* Winner will be announced shortly...

Really, I want each and every one of you to have this.

Unfortunately, I don't have 30,000 of them, I only have one.

It's a rainbow mini skein set. One ounce each of our nine new spring colorways: Brandy Alexander, Cosmo, Mimosa, Creamsicle, Mojito, Agua Vida, Curaçao, Ice Blue Raspberry, and Passion Punch. That's 2-1/4 skeins of yarn.

These sets are pretty irresistible, and the possibilities are endless. You can use them to make stripes, you can use just a couple of colorways together at a time, you can use them for trim, for contrasting heels and toes, or for a project that requires small blocks of color.

I would LOVE to see a log cabin pillow top, or a chevron scarf with skinny color changes. I would ADORE seeing a sweet striped sweater for a little one. It would THRILL me if someone made these into knee socks or a stocking cap.

The set I'm giving away is dyed on Springvale Sport, which can be knit like a heavy fingering weight for socks, or as a true sport weight for sweaters and scarves and such. It's delishy and squishy.

Don't mind me and my made up adjectives.

These sets are currently available only through retailers, but here's your chance to win one.

To enter, please leave a comment describing what you would do with this set if you won. I will use a random number generator to select a winner tomorrow, Wednesday, May 26th, at 1:00 pm, Central Time. The winner will be posted here. One entry per person, please.

Good luck!

Definitely a log-cabin style scarf! It would be so pretty!

First, I would keep it as is and admire it for, say, a week or three :). And then I would make my first-ever pair of rainbow-striped socks!

Ohh so pretty! Well first I'd have to love it and hug it and name it George ;)

Then after a while I think I would either make a sweater for Lilly for this fall, doing it in rainbow order stripes maybe or use it for a skirty for her :)
It would be so bright & cheerful and she'd be able to wear any shirt with it just about :)

I would make a collection of baby hats-there are lots of babies being born at my work place!

I can see making a chevron scraf with random color changes and /or a pair of Marlowe Crawford's arch socks that don't match but are so much fun and colorful....one for me and one for my sister.......

The colors are great, I am moving toward a Girasol or long stockings!.... ahh decisions!

I would make some little summer set for a new wee one to be born in June. Looks like a lovely bowl of sherbet. Yumm!

I have made the log cabin afghan and it is a lot of fun to do! I think I would use this to do Cottage Creations Rambling Rows baby blanket. Mitered squares of different sizes knit together. Beautiful, and so many special babies to bestow it on!

I'd do a mock quilt mitered square pillow case for my mother, starting at the red end of the colour spectrum (or Cosmo pink, as it may be) and working around to the violet end, with distinguished Brandy Alexander for the applied i-cord edge. Mum's loving my mitered knitting and being very, very difficult about settling on a yarn/pattern for me to create her some love with - but this she'd keep out and show every person who came near the house!

Pet it, stare at it longingly, think about what to do with it, pet it some more. wind it into balls. Finally, I think I would make it into a sweater for a little one.

Oh my, so many choices -- I see a wonderful stocking cap for cold winter nights! Or a great pair of knee socks. Or a bold sweater -- wouldn't that be something!

I would make some striped socks for my 5 yr. old daughter. How cute! They'd go with everything. She could wear them every day. Oooh...shoot! I may have to buy one of these sets!

I would a colorful stripy scarf to brighten up my wintry Boston days. :) Or maybe a funky pair of socks....

I would love to make a sweet cardigan for my one year old babe, Jasper. He'll need something for fall!!

I would make a rainbow sweater for my fun-loving, colorful daughter!

I would make a bright colored pillow out of this gorgeous yarn.

I would make a sweater with a colorful yoke!

I think I could just sit and stare at it for a long time...but then, I think I would make beautiful mittens to liven up my mostly black winter wardrobe.

I would make a sweater for my iPad and a Rasta-esque hat... floppy with lots of pattern. Hee hee!

I think I'd try making a Log Cabin Blanket. I've wanted to try it, but the thought of a huge blanket is a little daunting. This size could be an adorable one for a baby or toddler. :)
