*ALL SOLD OUT* Carpe Yarnem Stocking! *THANK YOU!*

Welcome to:

All of the colorways you see here are one of a kind and not reproducible. I didn't write down the recipe, which means that you must seize them now if you think you might want them.

Rule #1: Play nicely and play fairly. Don't make me turn these stockings around!

Rule #2: Be nice. Be fair.

Rule #3: Niceness and fairness are important.

Rule #4: Nicety and fairety will get you many places in life.

To buy any of the skeins listed, click on the buy it now button and click through to pay. Once they're gone, they're gone!

*SOLD OUT* Riverbed: Deep spruce, pine, grey, brown, and indigo. I'd love to see this as a hat. One skein of Galenas Merino available.

*SOLD OUT* Wind in the Willows: black, espresso, chocolate, and mocha browns were brushed onto one skein of McClellan Fingering.

*SOLD OUT* Pollock: reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting, this totally eye-catching colorway is a blend of deep blue, red, lime green, peach, and purple.  One skein of Springvale is available.

*SOLD OUT* Creekside: chocolate brown, royal blue, sky blue, Delft blue, and spots of white. Two skeins of Lindon are available.

*SOLD OUT* Crush: garnet, cherry, wine, chestnut, and spots of black are kettle dyed together for a totally striking colorway. Two skeins of Galenas Merino are available.

*SOLD OUT* Tempest: brown, grey, black, blue, and purple make up a perfect storm. One skein of Springvale is available.

*SOLD OUT* Pepperberry: this was created with a variety of dyeing techniques, including handpainting, kettle dyeing, and frosting. Two skeins of Springvale, three skeins of Adorn, and one skein of Springvale DK are available. Deep pink, peach, teal green, purple, brown and black. Yum.

*SOLD OUT* Reykjavik: one skein of Wexford available. Icy purple-greys and turquoise blues have been handpainted and kettle dyed together.

*SOLD OUT* Precious Metals: Lush and evocative of platinum, silver, bronze, copper, and gold -- Precious Metals is kettle dyed on two skeins of Wexford Merino Silk.

*SOLD OUT* Knoll: Woodsy, natural, and compelling -- Knoll takes earthy to a new level. Kettle dyed on one skein of Kells Sport.

*SOLD OUT* Cedar Grove: This colorway reminds me of the Pacific Northwest. Cedar green, misty olives, and lighter green-golds are present in this handpainted and kettle dyed colorway. One skein of Springvale is available.

*SOLD OUT* Brown Sugar: A stunning Frosted Solid -- warm taupe, mocha, and golden brown. Three skeins of Wexford Merino Silk are available.

*SOLD OUT* Old World:  Beautiful, aged shades of winter wheat, coral pink, jade green, and dusty heather. One skein of Carys BFL is available.

*SOLD OUT* Manly -- we've heard your pleas, and now here's your chance for a new masculine colorway. Brown. Black. Blue. Grey. Green. Even the subtle touches of purple are manly. Two skeins of Lindon Merino are available.

*SOLD OUT* Stained Glass: More than a dozen colors are layered on each skein, but the effect looks like the refracted light of a stained glass window.  Every skein is different, and there are two skeins of Adorn and one skein of Kells available.

*SOLD OUT* Noveau -- This is a large eight ounce skein with 1650 yards, dyed in the Noveau colorway. I used a special technique when dyeing this to make sure you would not experience any pooling when knitting your lace project. This new lace yarn is a test project for us, so we hope you'll give us some feedback after knitting with it. It's a superfine, two-ply, 100% merino with a very delicate halo. Purples and pinks have a touch of red and black, and will make a bewitching shawl.

*SOLD OUT* Elixir: The splatter effect used on Elixir will make sure your socks have a one of a kind look. Red, bright blue-greens, and blacks are the predominant colors. Two skeins of Adorn Sock are available.

*SOLD OUT* Gracie: What a sweetheart this colorway is. Gentle mint, lavender, mocha, and butter. One skein on Galenas and one skein on Elenya are available.

*SOLD OUT* Orchard: Oh dear, I'm afraid I really love this one. Deep greens, subtle browns, reds, and yellows, just like a real orchard. Three skeins of Wexford are available.

OK, who got Reykjavik? And where do you live? Oh, and if it disappears from your house in the middle of the night, it wasn't me!! :)

Dang..missed it by one hour--the woes of living on the west coast and being off the computer. I was sooo hoping to snag a skein of Gracie.

My DH tried to get the yarn for me. He had it all selected.. went to pay with paypal and got a session timed out. What does this really mean Sharon? Did someone else have it in their cart and paid before he was able to complete the transaction?
Should we learn that one skein and pay is the best way to go?
I gave him a list.. I gave him a rank order of what I wanted. He wanted to surprise me with it all! (very sweet)

We live to try another day... I know there will be other yarn that takes my breath away. sigh.

Hubby gets many many points for trying and for looking so disappointed when I walked in the door from work.

I missed it all, darn! I even missed the previews today as they weren't posted when I had to leave for my dental appointment. So many lovely colours here, Sharon! I wish some were available for order, not just a one-time thing.

Gorgeous, gorgeous yarn! On a whim, I just happend to be on my computer and remembered this was going on! I actually snagged a skein! Luckily I live relatively close to a retailer that carries TIG yarn, but it's so cool to be able to try and get a one of a kind skein! So fun!

Oh my. A new lace yarn! Hurry, whoever got the skein of Noveau, let us know what you think of it! By the by, Sharon, did you by any chance misspell the word? Shouldn't it be Nouveau? (Unless it has another meaning, of course).

Congrats to all the people who got this round of Carpe Yarnem!

I am excited by my Precious Metals. I had kind of thought I wouldn't bid this time around since I just spent so much at the Sheep and Wool Festival - but once I saw the previews my resolve disappeared. The people at work must have thought I was crazy. They just don't understand the power of beautiful yarn. Sigh.

Missed out on the first stocking, cart jacked during the second, but third time was the charm! Scored a skein of Elixir! Now, what to make with it....

I had a desire to start my own firm, but I did not earn enough of cash to do it. Thank heaven my close colleague told to take the www.lowest-rate-loans.com. Hence I took the bank loan and realized my desire.
