Would you look at that.

That is one pretty darn sweet yarn shop.

Mid-town Manhattan? No.

Loops South in Tulsa.  A new Awesome Retailer.

3IG yarn as a centerpiece = these people clearly have excellent taste.

Love the fixtures. Love the bags. Don't even know that the bags are. Still love them.

Yarn bar with online pattern browser for customers? Genius.

Loops South also has a great waiting area (cough--man cave--cough) and an adorable children's play area.

Loops South in Tulsa is now open! How do I know this? Their employees are holding their very own bundles of spring rainbow mini skeins, of course.

We are thrilled to add Loops South to our list of Awesome Retailers. Not only are they a great local yarn shop, they have a very spiffy online store as well.

Mark you calendars for October 2nd, when I'll be at Loops South doing a workshop and trunk show and meeting you and fondling the goodies at this awesome shop.

Loops, congratulations on the new store location. Congratulations on having excellent taste in decor and yarn -- I can't wait to see it in person!

I visited the new store this weekend and it is fabulous! I love that they are now carrying TIG! And I am also dying to get in on the Oct 2 workshop, I've been so jealous of the ladies that have attended other gatherings...now in my own backyard, I gotta go! (I've already been bugging them about sign-ups.) Can't wait to meet you!

What a beautiful place! Even non-knitters would love to visit there. I think you should take their turquoise (aqua?) hutch home with you, seeing as that is your favorite color. It's stunning.

WOW! I am in awe. What a great store. Jealous that it isn't my local yarn shop!

Oh...my. That looks more like a high end boutique! :-) Wonder if I can convince Steve to take the southerly route if we get moved cross country...

Wow, stunning place!! And the yarn bar with pattern browsers ready to go?? I totally needed that at my LYS the other day.too bad Tulsa isn't closer, or I would be all over the workshop and trunk show.

Wow! Almost makes me want to visit Tulsa. The displays are lovely and the yarn bar is genius! Why, oh why, can't my LYS be like that? Are they interested in expanding to Canada???? ;-)

SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR COMING TO TULSA???????????????????????????? SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Is this something we have to sign up for?

What a fab store! And, I do believe those bags are Offhand Designs. (Love my Gatsby.)

August 13, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBlueRidgeCelt

Melissa, there will be sign ups for the class because of limited classroom space. The trunk show will not require sign ups. :)

So pretty!

Oh, and I think the bags are Offhand Designs. (Is it bad that I can tell from that picture?) The one in the center looks like one that's at The Yarn Spot that I've been coveting for months and months!

Woohoo! Your coming to my neck of the woods! And I am beyond excited to know that Loops is carrying TIG!
I will for sure be there for the trunk show!!!

Wonderful decor for a knitting store. Looks edgy and cool. The kids spot is a great idea, but a better idea is for mom to leave them home in the first place!!!

I just visited Loops South for the first time today. My husband and I were traveling home from a Eureka Springs mini-vacation and I persuaded him how easily it is off/on Creek Turnpike to stop over.

We live too far to visit regularly in person but I am a regular online lurker and will physically walk in through those doors whenever in the Tulsa area.

I loved petting all the yarn today. I even got my name in the computer system even though I am not a Natalie <wink>
