carpe yarnem previews, pt 2

We'll be having a Carpe Yarnem stocking soon (for those of you new to this game, these are non-reproducible, get-them-while-you-can, one-of-a-kind, first-come-first-served skeins). They'll be sold on Monday at 3:30 pm Central Time. For more previews, see the post below this one.

All of the colorway names in this stocking were taken from your suggestions! Thank you!

Preview #8: Summer Vacation

This is an end of the summer kind of colorway. Pretty sky blues, azure, deep purple, greens, and gold. One skein of Riddermark Fine Merino is available. (Remember: We can always make coordinating solids, should you need them!)

Preview #9: Blue Bells and Cockle Shells

I may even throw in some Pretty Maids All in a Row if you're nice.

Salmon, rose, indigo, green, and magenta. Two skeins of Finley are available -- this is a heavy fingering weight 100% superwash merino wool, perfect for socks, shawls, or perhaps some fingerless mitts?

Preview #10 -- Pure Imagination

All I can say is that my imagination looks a lot like Pure Imagination.

Infer from that what you will.

Raspberry pink, peach, mint, black, mauvey taupes, and tiny hints of turquoise. We only have one skein of Springvale DK available -- I wish there were many more!

Preview #11: Rubicon

I can see the most amazing little girl's sweater out of this colorway. I can see a hat and scarf out of this. I can see a bed, and you lying on it, snuggling with Rubicon.

Do not buy if you don't like magenta, tangerine, plum, and fiery orange.

We have three skeins of Elenya Alpaca and three skeins of Springvale Worsted available. Each yarn type will be sold as a set of three so you can have a larger range of projects to choose from.

Preview #12: Tiddlywinks

So so so charming in person -- gold, bright blue, soft lavender, pink, brown and grey. We have two skeins of Carys BFL available, and they will be sold together.

Preview #13: Blarney

The tribe (tribe? clan?) has spoken. They want a Blarney colorway.

How's this?

Dyed on two skeins of Roslea Organic Worsted (Soft. Velvety. Yummy.), which will be sold as a set, and three skeins of Roslea Organic Bulky, also sold as a set.

Intense greens, blues, and violets.

Preview #14: Nature's First Green is Gold

If Robert Frost says it, it must be true.

Lovely vivid gold, pale rust, and leafy greens dyed on three skeins of Lindon Merino, which will be sold as a set.

More previews headed your way tomorrow!

Why is it so fun to see one of your name suggestions chosen? It really is flattering though. Pure Imagination is gorgeous, thanks for taking the name!

Blue Bells and Cockle Shells, How Green was My Valley, and Blarney are my favorites of this bunch. Beautiful, just beautiful.

last night, I dreamed you made a yarn that was the color of sugar maples in fall. And I gasped at the yarn, just like when I see those gorgeous trees!
