I'm begging you.

Please do not buy these.

That would just be very, very wrong of you. You don't like purple! You don't like cashmere!

And for sure don't go near this:

Ick! It's hideous! It's a good thing it's a one of a kind colorway, no one wants to see the likes of that again!

And for Pete's sake, don't go near the earth tones.

They're so unflattering. And who wants socks that actually match your wardrobe? Yeesh.

Uh, this? This can take a long walk off a short pier.

Shudder.

If I have to see the likes of this one more time, I might cry.

For crying out loud.

Oh dear.

You don't want this. No way, no how.

You do not want to shop in peace and comfort at Bobbin's Nest Studio. You don't want a change of pace from the hubub of Stitches West.  You don't enjoy adorable yarn shops. You hate colorways that can never be reproduced. And you definitely don't want friendly staff to greet you when you walk in.  Who does, really?

I'm begging you. Do not visit the store at 1171 Homestead Rd in Santa Clara, do not call there at 408.246.1121, do not send an email to bobbinsnest@gmail.com, don't like them on Facebook, don't follow them on Twitter, don't try and shop in the e-Nest, don't join the Bobbin's Nest Ravelry group, don't arrange for mail order delivery if you can't make it to California in person, don't do any of those things.

Because it just means there's more left over for me!

Hahahaha!

Hoho.

Heh.

Sorry, got carried away there for a minute.

Uh, back to what I was saying: trying to procure any of these colorways next weekend is just a bad, bad idea.

So don't do it. No. Stop. Come back.

Don't go.

Dang it.

Oh well.

Sigh.

Can't blame me for tryin'!

Waaaaa! That is me crying because I can't ever come to any of the trunk shows. Alaska is just too far away. And boy is it expensive to fly out of Juneau. Unless I am going to Cordova. And I am hoping to go to Cordova when you are there. And I sure hope you have some carpe yarnem skeins like these!!!

Great work as usual Sharon. :-)

I think I'm developing spring fever - the last 3 colorways grabbed me first, how breathtaking! But you sure wouldn't hear me argue if ANY of them forced themselves on me and demanded to come home with me! Alas, I will have to settle for drooling from afar and hope for a trunk show to meander into the North Chicago suburbs someday...

You are just too cruel!

I mean that in the nicest possible way. ;-)

Listen, since I'm not looking at them,. are all of the colorways pictured above OOAK/not to be made ever again? Especially the last two that I'm not looking at?

Yes ma'am. But there are multiples of all the pictured colorways. And Bobbin's Nest ships. :)

There is a small ( very small) city somewhere in Washington State with beautiful trees called Seattle. Do you think you could come here and stop to meet some adorable people( local folk is really adorable), soon? ( Soon is really important!)
It will be a great idea, you know...
You could bring with you your entire family: Woodland parc zoo is friendly .( A baby ocelot is born...in exhib in 1 month and a half ) Great aquarium too... Children museum very great. And a lot of things to do: knitting in Panera for example...

;-) Please COMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marina, that sounds sort of familiar... where have I heard the name Seattle before? Hmmm...

Is one of those Portage?! Because I extremely love my Portage, and I want MORE. (and Greener Pastures...NEED.) The earth tones with purple is so lovely!

February 13, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterHeather S

Nope, not Portage, although that was a beaut!

If you know where Seattle is, could you come to visit us, please? (With your yarn, of course! ) ;-)
(I don't know if there is a direct flight between Duluth and Seattle... probably not...)

Nice colorways!

February 13, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMarina

Well, there are basically only direct flights from Duluth to three places: Minneapolis, Chicago, and Detroit. But I'm used to changing planes!

Now to get a yarn shop on board...

Oh Sharon stop already, one beautiful colorway after another! It is more than I can take and I have been trying to stay on this stupid yarn diet! That last skein made me weak it is so beautiful. Come to Great Falls, MT! No one comes here and I am lonely for some lovely yarn babies. Not to mention I would love to meet you :). Happy Valentine's Day
