vote for your favorite colorway inspiration!
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 9:13PM I have several new, limited edition colorway collections coming out soon! But there's room for one more at the table.
Which is where you come in.
Below are three pictures -- all colorways from previous Carpe Yarnem (one of a kind colorway) stockings. Vote for the one you like best. The one with the most votes will serve as my inspiration for a new colorway. It won't be an exact replica, as I don't have the recipes for these, but I'll make something with a similar feel.
Option #1: Cider House
Warm golden browns, apple greens, hints of gray, amber, and olive.
#2: Meteor Shower
Salmon and rose pinks, smoky purples, teals, and blacks.
#3:Woodland
Turquoise, teal, hints of purple, pink, brown, and green. Woodland is used in one of the circles in the headers at the top of this page. It's the one right above the word The in The Yarnista.
You choose: Which should I use as inspiration for a new colorway? Feel free to leave a comment telling me which one you picked and why!

I can't believe that I--blue/green fan extraordinaire--just voted for Cider House over Woodland, especially as Woodland is gorgeous. But there's something about that Cider House...
I like cider house the best out of the three. You already have quite a few blue colorways, and the pink on meteor shower is too bright for me (just my personal opinion of course, others might like it).

Hard for me to choose between Cider House and Woodland! Adore them both!! Would buy them both. However,being held down to only one,I chose Cider House!
i am in the pink minority. salmon and grey is my favourite colourway ever.
Cider House is what I would buy to make myself a sweater that would be worn all the time. The others I still like, but would use them for small projects. So obviously I'm going to vote to blow the budget. ;-)
They're all beautiful but I chose cider house because I think Dad would like a scarf with something like that. :)
Cider House is the best by far!
ahhhhh, Cider House. greens, browns & greys. there's not nearly enough of that color combo available anywhere, and to have it on your bases would be heaven indeed.
Meteor Shower only got a passing glance... more pink. yawn...
Woodland is beautiful blues & greens, but it just can't compete with Cider House.
I chose the Woodlands colorway because it is so cool and calming. With summer coming these are the perfect color combinations. My hiking group is now going on our weekly County Park walks, with all the new growth, wildflowers and lakes, these colors are just screaming SPRING!!!
I love the depth and range of colors in Cider House, and how much it reminds me of autumn.

Cider House is wonderful. The colors are just awesome and I'm inspired already! I want some!!!
I voted for Meteor Shower, but was disappointed there was not an option for "All 3".
Please oh please oh please let Meteor Shower receive the most votes; it's so vibrant. Though really, all three are gorgeous and inspiring. Cider House would be my top pick if I weren't trying so hard to get into spring.
I'm with Heather - would have loved an "all 3" option to vote, but my favorite by far is definitely Cider House.
The critical question, however, is where these will be available once you decide which one to produce... inquiring minds want to know! :-)
cider house is gorgeous! well, they all are, but i reallllllly like cider house. :)
I like Meteor Shower--I think it's the most original. There are lots of blue-green yarns in the universe, and lots of harvest-colored yarns (just look around any large online yarn store to verify this--you can find yarns fairly similar in color to Cider House and Woodlands), but not many pink/purple/teal/black with lovely speckles yarns.
No question--I nearly cried when I saw Ciderhouse and found that I had missed it! I know several people who would LOVE those colors, myself included! Now I have a second chance at it! Thanks!
