time's up! How does this make you feel?

How does this picture make you feel?

Happy? Hypoglycemic?

Twitchy? Tragic?

Wistful? Wishy-washy?

What?

Tell you what: you leave a comment here telling me how this picture makes you feel, and I'll enter you in a drawing for a skein of one of our new fall colorways.

No, I can't post a picture of it -- it will ruin the surprise!

Really, I cannot.

You have until Thursday morning at 10:00 Central Time to enter. I will draw a winner at random, and send you a skein of yarn for free, no catch.

Just because. Because I am a nice Yarnista.

Can't wait to read your responses!

P.S. I'm looking for two little boys to model for our fall catalog: one should be a size 6-9 months, and the other a 2T-3T.  Free 8x10 prints for mama in exchange for your help. It will not take long, I promise!

P.S.S. Workshop and trunk show this Sunday at The Yarn Spot in Wheaton, MD! The workshop is full, but the trunk show is free and open to everyone -- it will run from 4-6 pm.

P.S.S.S. (Who does P.S.S.S.'s? Me? Only me?) I'm having a workshop here at the studio on October 30th! Watch this space for more details, or drop me a line using the Contact Us button if you're interested.

Excited!

Turquoise always makes me happy, and frost on a pinecone in October reminds me of my year in Duluth. (The picture, however, makes me feel cross-eyed -- perhaps it's just my aging eyes!)

It makes me feel like I want to see the new fall colorways!

Of course, EVERYTHING makes me feel like that these days. ;-)

But the color gives me the shivers in a good way.

Joyful! It means that winter is on its way, all fresh and clean and new. I also love turquoise and brown together and this photo has nice shades of each. It also reminds me of my children holding out a new discovery to show me, all excited and happy. Good times.

At first warm and fuzzy, then twitchy getting excited for the Fall Lookbook.

P.S. I have a very cute little boy who would be a great model, but he wears 4T. And we're in Oregon.

P.P.S. Workshop in the studio?!?!?! How exciting!!!!!!

P.P.P.S. I have an 80-lb. chocolate horsedog. Mine is not nocturnal (we crate trained him as a puppy), but he snores like a bear. He is awesome with kids though. Very sweet dog.

Well my first emotion is nostalgia. That feels that always swamps a person when they think of the Christmas season. Then I remember that that also includes snow, which makes me sad. But then I get hopeful, I'm finally knitting for myself this Christmas! So just a touch of excitement to go over it. Not to mention excitement over fall colors but that's separate.

It makes me feel like chilly with pearl grey clouds everywhere teasing of snow. Icy breeze on my face but warm in a woolly tasty sweater and a trek through the woods. :)

And crunchy leaves underfoot. There must be crunchy leaves.

It makes me feel like fall! Chilly enough to start wearing hand knits and watching the leaves turn brilliant colors! LOVE!
