time's up! How does this make you feel?
How does this picture make you feel?
Happy? Hypoglycemic?
Twitchy? Tragic?
Wistful? Wishy-washy?
What?
Tell you what: you leave a comment here telling me how this picture makes you feel, and I'll enter you in a drawing for a skein of one of our new fall colorways.
No, I can't post a picture of it -- it will ruin the surprise!
Really, I cannot.
You have until Thursday morning at 10:00 Central Time to enter. I will draw a winner at random, and send you a skein of yarn for free, no catch.
Just because. Because I am a nice Yarnista.
Can't wait to read your responses!
P.S. I'm looking for two little boys to model for our fall catalog: one should be a size 6-9 months, and the other a 2T-3T. Free 8x10 prints for mama in exchange for your help. It will not take long, I promise!
P.S.S. Workshop and trunk show this Sunday at The Yarn Spot in Wheaton, MD! The workshop is full, but the trunk show is free and open to everyone -- it will run from 4-6 pm.
P.S.S.S. (Who does P.S.S.S.'s? Me? Only me?) I'm having a workshop here at the studio on October 30th! Watch this space for more details, or drop me a line using the Contact Us button if you're interested.

Calm... It's like the calm before the storm.
That pic makes me feel.....covetous. As in, I want some snow, I want some cool weather, I want some nifty mittens.
Grateful - so much beauty both natural and handcrafted. And as we contribute our comments, the Chilean miners are emerging. Today, all I can see is the beauty of the world.
Hopeful. Hopeful that it will actually snow here this year and I'll get to use all of my hand knits.
Warm inside thinking about how nice those mitts would be on my hands while I ride my bike to work through Paris streets this winter
Refreshed. And hopeful. And minty.
Warm and toasty!
Wistful, and anticipating the first snow fall.
Shocked. It seems like it was just July..
So excited for winter!!!
Anxious. I am concerned that the pinecone will leave little bits of itself (or worse, dirt) on the beautiful, pristine mitten. I would be tempted to tell the person wearing the mitten (especially if they were young), "Honey, don't pick up pinecones when you're wearing those nice mittens, okay?"
Wishing for my sunglasses! It brings to mind sunlight bouncing off snow.
Inspired!
Ready for some cooler weather.
young - the picture makes me feel like a little kid who just found the most perfect pinecone (aren't they all). so perfect that I had to run home thru the snow to show my mom what a treasure I found...
Toasty!
Warm and fuzzy. The pinecone is nice, but those mittens!! Forget a skein of a new colorway, I want a skein of THAT color! Love me some turquoise :)
Minty Fresh! Chilly with a tingle to it. Hee hee.
Excited!
Makes me feel like cocoa!
