time's up! How does this make you feel?
How does this picture make you feel?
Happy? Hypoglycemic?
Twitchy? Tragic?
Wistful? Wishy-washy?
What?
Tell you what: you leave a comment here telling me how this picture makes you feel, and I'll enter you in a drawing for a skein of one of our new fall colorways.
No, I can't post a picture of it -- it will ruin the surprise!
Really, I cannot.
You have until Thursday morning at 10:00 Central Time to enter. I will draw a winner at random, and send you a skein of yarn for free, no catch.
Just because. Because I am a nice Yarnista.
Can't wait to read your responses!
P.S. I'm looking for two little boys to model for our fall catalog: one should be a size 6-9 months, and the other a 2T-3T. Free 8x10 prints for mama in exchange for your help. It will not take long, I promise!
P.S.S. Workshop and trunk show this Sunday at The Yarn Spot in Wheaton, MD! The workshop is full, but the trunk show is free and open to everyone -- it will run from 4-6 pm.
P.S.S.S. (Who does P.S.S.S.'s? Me? Only me?) I'm having a workshop here at the studio on October 30th! Watch this space for more details, or drop me a line using the Contact Us button if you're interested.

Wistful!
Anticipation (and a bit of impatience) for the new Lookbook!!
Stressed! (Christmas! Snow! Cold weather! I'm so not ready!!)
Excited for winter! I want to go sledding with the kids!
Reminescent
... of my childhood. Used to gather pine cones and sometimes took them apart to see the seeds. My siblings and I would gather the cones and I would be the one to open them to find the seeds. I was always interested in nature and how it works, as I am to this day.
Calm.

like taking a deep breath of fresh woodsy air...
Cold! At 1st glance I thought it was ice on the pine cone. Now I look at it and it reminds me of growing up with a huge pine tree in my front yard. Which is not so common in Southern California LOL.My brother and I would find an occasional pine nut morsel or two. Memories...
It makes me feel like knitting some mittens.
Excited for the season to come. It conjures up images of sleigh rides through the snow and snowball fights followed up with hot coco afterward. I love it!
Wistful. Makes me think of sledding and ice skating at my grandparent's house as a child.
Dizzy and excited at the same time!
Makes me feel warm and cosy!
Warm and Cosy!
Feels like home. I live in the deep woods...pine cones are part of the landscape here. :)
It reminds me of winter ! Hope it doesn't come to soon, as we live in Wiscosnin . It lasts a little to long.
Makes me feel like grabbing my jacket and going for a walk!
Nostalgic; I grew up in Minnesota and we lived in a neighborhood that used to be a Christmas tree farm, so when I see pinecones, I always remember how many we had in our yard. It was always fun to gather them and decorate them for the holidays. In fact, we still have a basket of them on our hearth here in Virginia. :) The turquoise mittens are a fun contrast - a playful warm color juxtaposed with a winter themed item.
