time's up! How does this make you feel?
How does this picture make you feel?
Happy? Hypoglycemic?
Twitchy? Tragic?
Wistful? Wishy-washy?
What?
Tell you what: you leave a comment here telling me how this picture makes you feel, and I'll enter you in a drawing for a skein of one of our new fall colorways.
No, I can't post a picture of it -- it will ruin the surprise!
Really, I cannot.
You have until Thursday morning at 10:00 Central Time to enter. I will draw a winner at random, and send you a skein of yarn for free, no catch.
Just because. Because I am a nice Yarnista.
Can't wait to read your responses!
P.S. I'm looking for two little boys to model for our fall catalog: one should be a size 6-9 months, and the other a 2T-3T. Free 8x10 prints for mama in exchange for your help. It will not take long, I promise!
P.S.S. Workshop and trunk show this Sunday at The Yarn Spot in Wheaton, MD! The workshop is full, but the trunk show is free and open to everyone -- it will run from 4-6 pm.
P.S.S.S. (Who does P.S.S.S.'s? Me? Only me?) I'm having a workshop here at the studio on October 30th! Watch this space for more details, or drop me a line using the Contact Us button if you're interested.

Calm and serene.
Worried...that the pine cone will snag the mittens!
Wistful! I always love that day of wearing mittens with the first snowflakes of the year falling and the chill in the air. I may not love it 4 months later when it's still going on, but the first time is always fun.
It makes me feel like when I was a kid playing in the backyard with my brothers in snow that seemed up to our waists and we were having so much fun that our lips turned blue and we didn't want to go inside even though the sun was setting and our gloves were frozen solid and we couldn't make any more snowballs.
Happy and honestly it instantly made me want to knit.
Happy and nostalgic - Pictures like this take me back to my childhood..
That photo makes me feel chilly! I want to grab a cup of hot cocoa :)
Playful! Crisp! Festive! I love winter and fresh fallen snow ;-)
So happy. Fuzzy and warm <3
Like a kid running in from the snow to show off the treasure I found.
(Thanks for the mental work escape!)
It reminds me when I was little and it would snow so much school would get canceled. My sister and I would go outside and make snowmen and have snowball fights until I would start to cry from her winning. Then we would go inside and my mom would build a fire and we would cuddle up on the coach and watch TV. My mom would always pull back the curtains so we could see the snow fall through our living room window.
I have trouble putting my emotions into words, but the song "I'll be Home for Christmas" comes to mind when I see this picture. I guess like a down home, winter comfort.
Fragile. (And not the Italian version of Fra-gi-le, for fans of A Christmas Story.)
Delicate.
And Beautiful.
It makes me feel all warm & cozy - sitting around the fire after the first snowball fight of the season
happy!
Wistful. We're in the midst of an endless summer, it seems.
expectant!
Like a blueberry snowcone.
Thankful, colours like that are a gift!!
Anticipatory.
