time's up! How does this make you feel?
How does this picture make you feel?
Happy? Hypoglycemic?
Twitchy? Tragic?
Wistful? Wishy-washy?
What?
Tell you what: you leave a comment here telling me how this picture makes you feel, and I'll enter you in a drawing for a skein of one of our new fall colorways.
No, I can't post a picture of it -- it will ruin the surprise!
Really, I cannot.
You have until Thursday morning at 10:00 Central Time to enter. I will draw a winner at random, and send you a skein of yarn for free, no catch.
Just because. Because I am a nice Yarnista.
Can't wait to read your responses!
P.S. I'm looking for two little boys to model for our fall catalog: one should be a size 6-9 months, and the other a 2T-3T. Free 8x10 prints for mama in exchange for your help. It will not take long, I promise!
P.S.S. Workshop and trunk show this Sunday at The Yarn Spot in Wheaton, MD! The workshop is full, but the trunk show is free and open to everyone -- it will run from 4-6 pm.
P.S.S.S. (Who does P.S.S.S.'s? Me? Only me?) I'm having a workshop here at the studio on October 30th! Watch this space for more details, or drop me a line using the Contact Us button if you're interested.

Immediate response to the pic is OMG I love that color! Then it makes me a little wistful to live in an area of the country with real seasons. Right now, in San Francisco, it should be about 55 degrees but it's not, it's 84 - yesterday it was 92 - but I'll be loving it in January :)
It makes me look forward to autumn...and really hope we have a nice long autumn and don't go straight from HOT into 2 days of aututmn and then bare bones, but not too cold winter. The fall colors are beautiful and I am enjoying seeing them around in nature, and in stores of all sorts. The turquoise in the picture sets off the range of browns in the pince cone nicely.
Like the caress of warm sunshine on a crisp late autumn afternoon.
Like I am a child again, living in a place of wonder.
This pic makes me think of the way it feels to be walking in Willow River State Park (WI) on a cold but sunny day in the winter...Feeling the sunshine warm me on top of that chill! Yum!
Giddy! That color is delish! The crispness of the turquoise against the pine cone..yum!
It makes me long for winter. It's still too hot outside for wintery thoughts but pinecones and mittens...
It gives me a bit of a chill - reminds me of the clean, fresh feeling of the first snowfall!
It makes me positively happy!!!! Perhaps a bit nippy but happy!!!
Frosty ;-)
Makes me feel a little nostalgic for a place that is now on the market, but has been in the family for many generations. Many pines, many mittened walks, much history...
Chilly... yet warm. Like my nose and cheeks are cold from the winter air, but the rest of me is all cozy because I'm wrapped up in handknits.
Makes me think of my favorite time of year! I love the crisp fall air and the pine cones and colored leaves. I love to walk in the crisp air bundled in a warm coat, scarf and mittens.
It makes me feel like singing "A Few Of My Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music! Warm woolen mittens......
makes me feel like eating a peppermint.
Makes me feel like I've been walking in the forest on a cool frosty morning and my nose is all red and I'm about to partake in a cup of hot chocolate!
Reminds me of autumn in Vermont, and the crisp winter air. Makes me want to curl up in front of the fireplace with some hot cocoa!
Cold but cheerful!
well, first of all, i love the photo.
blissful. like i'm catching a small glimpse into a secret, magical world.
It makes me wish I had some bulky Alpaca yarn in my stash to knit a matching hat. Or better yet some Alpaca fiber to spin into yarn to make a hat!
